I’m a Montreal based freelance photographer & videographer. I shoot regularly for The New York Times and various Canadian media outlets. Driven by a perpetual desire to discover new worlds and new ways of seeing in turn, my projects have taken me far and wide: shooting vibrant street photography in Havana and New Delhi; hang-gliding for aerials in Turkey; diving for underwater footage in Hawaii and capturing landscapes from Tasmania to Madagascar.

I’m an alumni of NYU Tisch’s Photography and Human Rights intensive, hosted jointly by Fred Ritchin and Magnum, and the Mountain Photography residency at the Banff Centre. I split my time between editorial, commercial and creative projects, and consider it a great privilege to collaborate frequently with my little sister, investigative journalist Chloe Rose Stuart-Ulin, on travel and solutions stories.
