Capturing dance has often been a test of my own dancing skills - requiring that the camera feel truly like an extension of my body. I had the great pleasure of filming this piece, choreographed and performed by the brilliant Eva Kolarova as part of a long-running collaboration with Kemal Payza.

Lil Andy & Joe Grass perform Leonard Cohen's "Democracy" in a parking garage in Montréal.
Recorded for a retrospective of the late artist's life and work at the Musée d'Art Contemporain de Montréal, this track featured in the "listening room" installation. The accompanying video takes you behind the scenes underneath the Palais de Congrès where Li'l Andy chose to record their version due to its unique acoustic quality - the footsteps and occasional screech of tires included.
